Coutinho has endured a terrible 18months after leaving Liverpool for Barcelona, since he arrived at the Nou Camp for a world record deal of £146m in January 2018 he has not been able to be at the top of his game and this has led to him having an uncertain future at Barcelona.

Kia Joorabchian, Coutinho’s agent told sky sports news in July that Barcelona have been sending mixed signals towards their plans for the ex-Liverpool midfielder and he also ruled out Coutinho joining any of Liverpool’s direct rivals.

Now it looking more unlikely that the Brazilian international will be returning to the Premier League this summer transfer window because Liverpool is not interested in buying any big money player this summer.
